BIOGRAPHY – BOBBY DEOL
Bobby Deol is also known by his real name as ‘Vijay Singh Deol’ but this name is not much heard by his fans and in the Indian Film Industry. Bobby Deol was born on 27th January 1967 in Punjab, India. His father Dharmendra was a Legendary Actor at his times in Bollywood Industry and his mother name was Prakash Kaur. Bobby has an elder brother named as Sunny Deol and a younger brother as Abhay Deol, both of them are Actor’s by profession in the Film Industry. In his real life, he had two sisters named as Nonu Deol and Dolly Deol. And two- half sisters born from father Dharmendra second wife Dream girl and Bollywood Actress – Hema Malini named as Esha Deol and Ahana Deol.
Bobby Deol was tied into knots with Tanya Ahuja and he is blessed with to children's both of them are sons name of the Elder one is ‘Aryaman’ who is born in 2001 and second child was name behind his Grandfather’s name as ‘Dharam’ who is born on 5th November 2004. Bobby got his first character in a brief appearance as a younger dharam in ‘Dharam Veer’ in the year 1977. In this film he played the role as a Younger versions of his father’s character. Bobby’s first leading role film came out as ‘Barsaat’ with Actress Twinkle Khanna in 1995. Though the film didn’t make out at the Box-office, Bobby Deol Acting and Hardworking was appreciated and recognized by the Industry too.
Later on his performance in the film honored him Filmfare Best Debut Award – Male. Bobby’s real Acting career started with Action, Thriller and Suspense Movie ‘Gupt’ with Actress Kajol in 1997. This film was the 5th Highest Grossing Film of the Year. Then Bobby had two Flop films like ‘Aur Pyaar Ho Gaya’ with Aishwarya Rai and ‘Kareeb’ with Actress Neha. Then in 1998 Bobby had one more successful film ‘Soldier’ with Actress Preity Zinta. But his roles in movies like ‘Dillagi’ in 1999 with his elder brother, Sunny Deol failed to receive critical acclaims for his performance. His next film ‘Badal’ with Actress Rani Mukherjee in 2000 was an average hit film.
In 2001 Bobby appeared with Actress Kareena Kapoor, Bipasha Basu and Actor Akshay Kumar in an Action cum thriller film ‘Ajnabee’ and in 2002 he was seen in ‘Humraaz’ with Actress Amisha Patel. Both the films had good reviews and his peformance was apprecaited a lot. He was also nominated in the Category of Filmfare Best Actor Award for the film Humraaz. He had many moderate hits films like ‘Hum to Mohabbat Karega’, ‘Bichhoo’ and ‘Aashiq’ in 2000 while ‘Kranti’, ‘Chor Machaye Shor’ and ‘23rd March 1931: Shaheed’ in 2002. His next up-coming movies are as ‘Shaka Laka Boom Boom’, ‘Nanhe Jaisalme’ and Yash Raj Production film ‘Jhoom Barabar Jhoom’ directed by Shaad Ali casting Abhishek Bachchan and Preity Zinta in 2007.
