Pavan Kalyan (born as Konidela Kalyan) on 2 September 1971 is a Telugu cinema actor and director. Pawan Kalyan's notable movies include as an actorTholi Prema (1998), Thammudu (1999), Badri (2000) and Khushi (2001). He is the younger brother of Telugu actor the Megastar - Chiranjeevi and actor/producer Nagendra Babu. He also directed a film Johnny in which he himself played the lead role and wife, Renu Desai co-starred with him. The film was a flop but received appreciation from critics for his technical brilliance and his martial arts in the movie. he later gave all average movies by content but hits in terms of trade from Gudumbashankar to Annavaram. His latest movie Jalsa (2008) was a blockbuster. The film completed 50 days in 282 centers and 100 days in 25 centers. It collected 59 crores Gross and 42 crores share in total making it the highest grocer in his career.
